Meadowhead School finds recruitment success through Inspire ATA
Meadowhead School Academy Trust is a mixed secondary school and language college with academy status in Sheffield. The school has been working with Inspire ATA for four years and have employed many apprentices during this time.
For National Apprenticeship Week, School Business Manager Kevin Elliot discussed Meadowhead’s experience of partnering Inspire ATA for apprentice recruitment.
“Over the last four years, we have worked with Inspire ATA who have introduced several apprentices to us. All of these have been of a very high calibre, and we have provided them all with full time employment when their apprenticeship has ended. We chose this programme because it is tailor made for our own specific requirements and choosing this route makes our administration of the process, making it so much easier.
The main advantages for us are the very easy administration, the selection process and recruitment are all completed by Inspire ATA, and we are strongly encouraged by the professional approach with the professional qualification that is provided to each candidate.
We currently work with Jules Williamson, and I have to say, you could not find a more efficient and professional individual. Jules always responds quickly and what I like about this, is that she cares. She values each apprenticeship, and she provides instant support to help make the programme smooth and efficient for both the apprentice and the employer. We receive regular updates; newsletters and we all really enjoy the Performer of the Month. Inspire ATA values their apprentice employees, and we feel proud to work alongside them.
The apprentices we have had over the years have all been fantastic. They perform a valuable role within school. The professional support with their qualifications has been outstanding and I am delighted that they have all successfully passed their qualifications. We have provided roles to all the apprentices in our Administration Teams, IT Network Teams and as Teaching Assistants. These employees are now maturing into a long career in education.
Working with Inspire ATA takes away the pain of dealing with the complicated administration process, finding the right qualification and giving the apprentice the correct level of ongoing support that is required to ensure they successfully finish their apprenticeship. Let Inspire do all the work for you. You really have nothing to lose, but everything to gain. Life is busy enough in education and using Inspire, allows me to free up time to focus on what is most important, the education of our students, who will make good apprentices for the future.”
