Inspire ATA Ltd. is part of the LMP Group and there are robust governance arrangements in place. Inspire ATA is a Company Limited by Guarantee. There are 2 Company Directors: Matthew Lord and Amy Lalla.

Matthew Lord and Amy Lalla also own and oversee Let Me Play Ltd. (which trades as LMP Education), and LMP Action C.I.C. All 3 companies within the LMP Group are governed by an Advisory Board.

About LMP Group

LMP, established in 2004, is a group of companies focused on education and social impact, working together to bring about positive, sustainable change.

The various divisions of LMP service schools, businesses and individuals across the UK through Apprenticeship Training & Recruitment, Alternative Education, Employability Support Programmes, Adult Education and Camps.

The Board

The Board is characterised by:

  • A small committed Board appointed for their skills and experience.
  • Clear Terms of Reference identifying the advisory nature of the Board and its responsibility to the company Directors.
  • A schedule of meetings with a pre-agreed agenda, written reports and timely minutes capturing key discussion and agreed actions.
  • A supportive, open and where necessary challenging culture focused on the achievement of aspirational aims and objectives.
  • Ethical conduct which stands up to scrutiny and sets a tone for the organisation as a whole.

Purpose

The purpose of the Board is to provide advisory services to the organisation, guidance on strategy and scrutiny on business operations.

  • Bruce McCombie, Head of Partnerships at Pilotlight, a charity that helps charities help more people more effectively.
  • Bob Busby, Senior Education Consultant in Further Education & Skills.
  • Matthew Lord, Co-Founder & Director of LMP Group.
  • Amy Lalla, Co-Founder & Director of LMP Group.

Transparency

Inspire ATA aims to be open and accountable to customers, stakeholders and other service-users. We aim to make information easy to find for other interested parties such as partners, regulators, the government and members of local communities. We also encourage employees or others with serious concerns about any aspect of our work to come forward and express concerns.

Our guiding principles are that we will:

  • Provide information in a way which reflects the wishes and needs of customers and other interested people.
  • Make information available about our plans, decisions, policies, standards, and performance.
  • Provide information about how we are governed.
  • Make sure information is easy to find, relevant, accurate and wherever possible self-explanatory.
  • Respond to requests in a way which is cost effective and proportionate.
  • Always act lawfully and comply with any requirements set by our regulators.
