What are flexi job apprenticeships?

Inspire ATA joined the Flexi-Job Apprenticeship Agency Register (FJAAR) in January 2022. Since then, we have been delivering flexi-job apprenticeships for a range of organisation from across all sectors, helping them to take on apprentices with ease.

But what are flexi-job apprenticeships and what makes them so useful?

Flexi-job apprenticeships allow employers to take on an apprentice for a short-term engagement. Through this arrangement Inspire ATA will act as the employer of the apprentice, taking on all related payroll responsibilities, onboarding and support.

This provides a number of benefits to the employer.

Hire based on your needs

At times you may find your business may be in need of a short-term hiring solution, needing to fill a spot for just a few months. Through flexi-job apprenticeships you can hire an apprentice for a shorter duration (minimum 3 months) and not the full duration of their apprenticeship (often 18-24 months).

No impact on budgets or headcounts

Flexi-job apprenticeships allow you to hire off-payroll with Inspire ATA taking on all payroll responsibilities meaning that they apprentices will not impact your permanent headcount.

Less paperwork

Inspire ATA manages all the admin and related compliance regarding employment contracts and enrolling the apprentice with a training provider. This includes all payroll, holiday allowance, SSP, and more. Inspire ATA will manage the apprentice and handle any issues that arise (safeguarding, grievance and disciplinary matters, etc).

Free replacement service

If the placement does not work out for any reason, inspire ATA will find a replacement apprentice free of charge.
